PTO Proposes Revisions to TTAB Rules
The Patent and Trademark Office on January 17, 2006 , published for public comment proposed revisions to the rules of practice before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Among other things, the proposal would require plaintiffs to serve their complaints on defendants and would import a modified form of the disclosure practices under the in the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Comments on the revisions must be submitted by March 20, 2006 .
